Minor Course Change!!!
We've added the 2 big doubles on White Knuckle to the Cat1 Pro course.  If you haven't hit them, stop and take a look, and there is a ride around.

Also, the party has moved from the Red Lion to Dry Hill.  We will have the dinner/swap meet/raffle shortly after practice ends on Saturday, should be a good time, and it's on us, that's right, no charge!

Courses are decided upon, should have pre-ride videos up by Monday at the latest.

Last chance to shred the Dry Hill trails for the year as Round 4 of the NW Cup is this weekend.

Fresh tracks for await everyone for the final round.
I promise I'll get the pre-ride video's up as soon as possible this time.  I had technical difficulties last time.

Trail News

Just hung the first ribbon for a possible new trail from the top down to the first intersection.  By next year we should have a new, flowy, beginner friendly route other than the White Knuckle.  It will share the first 50 yards of King Diamond, then split off to the right.  We're chomping at the bit to build something new!!

Time to start repairing the damage from a World Cup'ish beating!

Falcon punch got some work this weekend and it's turning out to be killer.  A new entrance with a log drop into a corner that takes away a little speed killing section came out sweet.  Last weekend we did a ton of work on it as well that will be sure to please.  It comes back into the pro course in the landing of the step-down.  Just a couple of weeks left!!!!

On Sunday, Shawn, myself and a couple of other guys finished the re-route on King Diamond and it's pretty sweet.  After riding it a few times it became clear that the main corner in it needs some tweaking, but overall it worked great.  Still working up there a couple days a week right up to race day.

We Started a re-route at the bottom of King Diamond yesterday.  We are bypassing around the final steep chute with a traverse that should be pretty sweet.  I'll post a video once it is completed.

We will have pre-reg open for the Pro GRT by early next week.

It was an awesome weekend on the hill.  A group from recycled Cycles came out and helped pimp out the trails this weekend.  Motoguzzi, Upper Pro, and Falcon Punch all got some much needed work.  Also the hole in the landing of the step-down is filled in.  The weather defied the weatherman and was perfect both days.

Got to try out my new helmet cam so I'll have some new videos up soon.

Well thanks to this guy.......

.....The trails got a facelift this weekend.  Steve was nice enough to let me use the buffest leaf blower around.  Leaves, limbs and rocks as big as golf balls are now resting off trail in the salal leaving the trails like a ribbon of dirt.  We did a few runs on Sunday to test them out and it was sick not sliding around on decaying matter for once.  Shawn, Andy Tran and Blake worked on Braeburn and Motoguzzi as well.  Things are starting to shape up.

I'm finally scoring a helmet cam so I'll do my best to keep some fresh vid's on here showing our progress.

T’is the season to do trail work, and we are.  The last couple of years have put a beating down on the trails, so we’ve been on operation re-hab.

So far Upper White Knuckle got a makeover.  The left/right  turns after the first table-top are new and much improved.  The woods section just before the intersection is smoothed out and rebuilt with a nice berm in the right hander.

Cakewalk got a little berm work today and double bypass is getting a few tweaks as well.

Limbo got hit pretty hard with the windstorms, but it is now clear and has a feature in it that is pretty fun.

Next we will be reviving a defunct trail to add a few more options for race courses.  Overall the trails are in great shape and the dirt right now is perfect for building.  If you would like to participate in a little trail work, click here.
